Lame and CDex

How to use Lame mp3 enc with with CDex ripper

Tested using Lame 3.98b5 and beta 6, using CDex 1.51. Lame is used as an external encoder. You could also use it as internal, if you copy the .dll to CDex directory. My parameters create filesize comparable to what you'd get with constant 192 kbps Stereo at 44 kHz, but variable bit rate is used to improve sound quality.

External encoder Encoder path should point to lame.exe Parameter string: -V2 -h %1 %2 Bitrate 192 File extension mp3 Hide DOS box selected On-the-fly encoding selected Send wav header to stdin selected
